How many people can stay in the home?

At Staycation Vacation, the general thump rule is a maximum of two people per bedroom. We can, however, allow additional guests if the home includes a sofa bed. We recommend reading the listing description, as most will list the maximum occupancy.

Keep in mind that the occupancy limit also includes your children.

We try and cap the number of people per bedroom for reasons of privacy and comfort.

How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions?

Once you make your reservation and pay a 30% deposit, we’ll send you a confirmation and arrival instructions via email. Advisably, add to your list of accepted email addresses. This will help prevent our emails from ending up in your spam folder.

You can expect to receive an email with this information within 24 hours of making your reservation. Next, you’ll need to make a full payment 45 days prior to arrival. As soon as you make the final payment and sign the rental agreement, we’ll confirm your holiday by giving you access to our Guest Pass Portal.

The Guest Pass will include several details, including the arrival instructions and the singed rental agreement. Your access codes required to enter your vacation property will be sent to your Guest Pass one hour before your checking time. We recommend you download the Guest Pass application to your smart phone.

With Guest Pass, you can:

  • Obtain information on the accommodation and its location, with maps, photos, and home’s address.
  • View the house rules and costs.
  • Organize details pertaining to your trip and your payments.
  • Check-in and out in real-time.
  • Have access to on the fly communication with your agent or property manager.
  • View local amenities and things to do.
  • Review and update your contact information and guest profile.
  • Use favorites to review listings that you’ve saved.
  • Request and pay for any additional services
When can I check in & check-out of my vacation home?

At Staycation Vacation, we enforce check-in and check-out times. This allows us to have sufficient time to prepare homes for new guests. Check-in is at 4:00 P.M and check-out is 10:00 A.M.

However, if you need to arrange an earlier check-in or later check-out time, please confirm with us two days before you arrive or two days before you leave. It’s solely based on availability and extra charges may apply.

Do I need to leave a security deposit?

No you do not. We charge a mandatory non refundable Accidental Rental Waiver at the time of making your reservation that will cover up to $1500 in accidental damages.

How much is the deposit to reserve a home?

To reserve a home, you’ll need to make a deposit of 30% of the total rental cost.

When is the final balance due?

You’ll need to pay the remaining balance 45 days before your planned arrival. This isn’t negotiable. If your reservation is made with less then 45 days before check in date, then the full payment will be required at the time of making the reservation.

Can I cancel my reservation?

If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, we must have the cancellation in writing. If the cancellation occurs 45 days or more from check-in date, we will return all monies paid minus a $200 Cancellation Fee to cover expenses. If you must cancel 44 days or less until check-in, there is no refund. There are no exceptions to this policy, therefore Travel/Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended. We cannot accommodate date/reservation changes.

How do I get to my vacation home?

Once you’ve confirmed your booking, paid in full, and completed your guest registration online, we’ll provide you with detailed directions to your reserved property via ourGuest Pass portal

How do I lock/unlock the home?

We’ll give you a code that will grant you access to your reserved property. This code is sent to your Guest Pass portal one hour before check in.

Will I stay in the specific home that I picked?

Yes, you will! You’ll get to stay in the property of your choice. Our calendars are always live and will automatically update once you’ve completed your booking.

In the rare case that we must change your reservation, we’ll provide you with adequate notice and move you to another property with the same specifications but cannot guarantee the same amenities.

Is my vacation home close to restaurants & shopping?

All our homes are in close proximity to important utilities amenities like grocery stores and malls.

What do I need to bring with me on my vacation?

Staycation Vacation, we try our best to give our guests most of the articles they require. However, there are some items that you may need to bring yourself.

For example, while we’ll provide you with bath and hand towels, you may want to bring your own beach towels, as these will not always be provided.

A typical vacation home comes equipped with a starter kit that contains things like trash bags, toilet paper, and soap. However, there is a chance these may not last the duration of your stay and you will have to purchase additional quantities for the remainder of your stay.

Our signature homes do provide additional items in the starter kit such as body wash, conditioner, shampoo, etc

Do I need to clean the home?

At Staycation Vacation, we believe that vacation is time to enjoy the things you love and those you love in a relaxing scene. However, we do request you place the dishes in the dishwasher and all trash in the provided garbage bins.

All homes are professionally cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. We’ll equip your home with a broom, mop, and vacuum cleaner should you require a “touch-up” during your stay.

Also, at an extra cost, we can provide a mid-stay clean or even a daily maid service.

Are the kitchens fully equipped?

All of our vacation homes come equipped with these items: dishwasher, microwave, oven, freezer, and refrigerator. In addition, all homes are fully equipped with utensils, glasses, dishes, cookware, a kettle, coffee maker, and a toaster.

Are the laundry facilities close by?

When it comes to your laundry needs, look no further than your home! All Staycation Vacation homes come complete with an iron and ironing board, and a full-sized washer and dryer.

Do I need to pay for pool heat to have the spa/hot tub heated?

Yes, you’ll need to order heat with your reservation if you would like the spa to be heated. A hot tub or spa isn’t able to be heated on its own. Since it’s using the same water as the pool, there isn’t really an option to only heat the spa.

How hot will my pool be if I purchase pool heat?

f you choose to heat the pool, the spa and pool will be heated to a temperature of about 80-84 degrees Fahrenheit. If on spa mode, the system will adjust itself to allow water from the spa to return back to the spa.

Will heated pools cool down overnight?

Yes, the pool will cool off overnight. This is because pool heaters operate on a timer and are set to come on in the morning and go off in the evening.

Please note that cold weather doesn’t constitute a mechanical failure. As such, we’ll not offer refunds to problems resulting from cold weather. If the air drops below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, the heating pump will be rendered ineffective. If this happens, please bear with us, as it’s beyond our control.

Can I make special requests?

At Staycation Vacation, we welcome our guests’ special requests.

What extras can I add to my booking

While making your reservation online and or through our Guest Pass application, you will be given the option to add extras to your stay. These include things such as welcome food packs, pool heating, highchairs, cribs, gas grill, and a mobility scooter can be arranged for.You’ll then need to pay extra charges in advance.

Our Signature Properties come with pre-programmed tablets that come with a host of convenient applications. You can use these to help make your stay relaxing, as you can order things like groceries and food at the comfort of your home.

Please note that there is a 5% convenience fee for using these tablets to place any orders.

How far will I be from Walt-Disney World?

Our homes are spread across the greater Orlando area. It is recommended to check each homes individual listing to find the exact distance from Disney and other key attractions. It is recommended to search the community of your selected home on a map to find the exact distance

Can I bring my pet?

Each vacation property comes with its own set of pet policies. Some are pet-friendly while others may not be. Those that are pet-friendly will be clearly marked as such. Additional fees may apply.

If no designations are present please assume the home is NOT pet friendly, However, you can always reach out to us and ask!

Can I smoke in the home?

We don’t permit smoking in any of our vacation homes. Any cigarette buds found in or around the property area will result in additional cleaning charges.

What happens if we have a problem?

Before arrival, we’ll send you our contact information, including our after-hours emergency number. Rest assured that someone will be there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to tend to your needs.At Staycation Vacation, customer service is a key pillar of our business model
